Meet Your Therapist

I’m a licensed psychotherapist with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges to feel more grounded, confident, and connected. I provide individual and family therapy, specializing in anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health and life transitions.  Over the years, I’ve worked with clients through the spectrum from everyday stressors to major life changes.

My approach is client-centered — meaning your goals, your pace, and your needs are always at the heart of our work. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical, so each session is tailored to provide real tools and strategies you can use right away. Whether we’re working to ease anxiety, lift depression, process fertility struggles, strengthen relationships, or navigate a major life transition, my goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and equipped for whatever comes your way.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will collaborate with you every step of the way, give you the extra push you need, and celebrate your growth, let's get started!

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should we meet?

Every person is different! Typically, I recommend starting with weekly sessions, then moving to biweekly when it feels right. Once you’ve built the skills you need, we can switch to monthly or just as-needed. It all depends on your needs, progress, and schedule.

Should I do in person or virtual?

It depends on what works best for you. Some people love virtual for the convenience and comfort of being at home, while others prefer in-person to step away from daily life and focus fully on themselves. I offer both options, we can decide together which option is best for you.

How long is the typical person in therapy

There’s no set timeline for therapy — it’s all about what works best for you. I believe you need at least 6 sessions to begin reaping the benefits.

Do you prescribe medications?

As a therapist, I cannot prescribe medication. Therapy is a powerful treatment modality that can work with or without medication. If we find that medication may be helpful, I am happy to refer you to trusted providers that I collaborate with.

Do you accept insurance?

Because I run a small practice, I don’t accept insurance directly. However, I work as an out-of-network provider and provide superbills that many clients use to get reimbursed—often covering 70-100% through their insurance. I’m happy to help answer any questions you have about this! For more information, see the 'General' Tab.
